Satellite Direct Scam http://satellitedirectscam.com Satellite Direct scam, or a legitimate product? Wed, 29 Jun 2011 20:02:08 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.1.4 How to Watch TV on the Internet and Scrap Your Cable Subscription http://satellitedirectscam.com/how-to-watch-tv-on-the-internet-and-scrap-your-cable-subscription/ http://satellitedirectscam.com/how-to-watch-tv-on-the-internet-and-scrap-your-cable-subscription/#comments Wed, 29 Jun 2011 20:02:08 +0000 admin http://satellitedirectscam.com/?p=30 Tired of paying expensive bills for cable all the time, when it’s just not worth the hundreds of dollars paying for programming blocks filled with coached reality shows?  Then why not avoid all of that, still get the programs that you want, and enjoy it all for a much, much lower fee.  Impossible right?  Well not really if you know how to shop.  You’re going to find that there are plenty of ways that you can actually figure out how to watch TV on the internet without having to deal with all of those fees.

This way, you can be watching all sorts of programs without having to pay cable prices to do so, which is going to be a massive load off your wallet.  You’ll find that it’s all about setting yourself up in the right way, and figuring out how you’re going to be able to get the programs and programming you want beamed right into your home.  There are plenty of ways that you can do this and it’s all about connecting in the method that feels the most doable and convenient for you:

1) First up, choose the right type of venue to get watch streaming TV internet programs.

This is all about deciding where you want to get your programming, and usually it does mean paying for your subscription, but you will find that it’s still a much more favorable alternative than having to deal with cable companies.  But there are a few services out there that you count on, and the finest are going to include:

Netflix

This is the ultimate resource these days for streaming content right to your home whenever you want it.  They have a massive library of TV seasons, entire series runs, as well as movies, so that you can always see what you want when you want as well.  But what you’re also going to discover is that they can provide you with a great selection of all of this for just around $8 a month.  You just can’t beat that at all.

Hulu

Through Hulu you can watch all sorts of great programming totally free anyway.  But then you’re also able to take things to the next level if you pay for Hulu plus.  What this is going to give you is much more access to all sorts of great TV shows and movies, and it’s still only a very small fraction of the price you would have to pay monthly for cable, which is a massive bonus overall.

Satellite Direct

There’s the namesake of this site too, of course, Satellite Direct, which gives you direct access to many of the streaming cable channels you’re used to seeing on TV, in addition to hundreds of international programming choices too.

2) Set up streaming so you can watch on your television set.

Once you’ve chosen the most ideal provider, you have to figure out how to watch TV on the internet on the nice big flat screen TV in your living room that you don’t want to be worthless.  That’s where getting the right type of streaming box device can be a necessity, so that you can beam the programming right to your screen.  One of the most popular devices is going to be the Roku box which can stream practically all the major content providers with ease.

But if you’re a fan of videogames, there’s good news with every current generation console that’s out now. You’ll find that with either the Wii or the Xbox 360 and even the Playstation 3 you can actually download a Netflix program to stream that content through your console. In the case of 360 you can also get Hulu plus as well.  The only downside of this is that you’re going to have to pay the Xbox Live price of around $10 per month if you want to use any of those online features, on top of what you pay otherwise.

3) Just remember you still have to pay the fee for high speed internet.

The only problem with how to watch TV on the internet is that you still have to pay for high speed if you want to be able to stream programs well.  That usually means getting cable internet, so you’re still going to be on the hook for paying them something.  But at least it’s going to be a fraction of what you had to pay before though right?

Is Satellite Direct Software Everything It’s Cracked Up To Be? http://satellitedirectscam.com/is-satellite-direct-software-everything-its-cracked-up-to-be/ http://satellitedirectscam.com/is-satellite-direct-software-everything-its-cracked-up-to-be/#comments Wed, 22 Jun 2011 04:00:52 +0000 admin http://satellitedirectscam.com/?page_id=27 Looking for great new ways that you can watch TV online is something that a lot of people aspire to, because computers are just so convenient these days who needs a regular cable company to provide you with programming right?  But not everything is easily available online, and sometimes you want to watch international programming, so how are you supposed to do that easily? Well may would turn to Satellite Direct software, but that’s not always the best option.

You’re going to find that there’s a running debate online as to whether or not this type of software can be trusted, or whether or not it’s actually a scam.  You’ll find that there’s a lot of information about Satellite Direct software scams out there, that can scare you off the process.  So how are you supposed to find out the truth and whether or not this type of software is really going to be right for you?

Just what it is that Satellite Direct software is claiming?

Basically this type of software is available for a one time fee of $50 and access to over 3500 channels.  They are able to do this by tapping into satellite networks all throughout the world, in a totally legal way, that supplies you with access to channels and programming you just wouldn’t be able to get otherwise.  Plus you can watch it all right from your computer through the included software.

That means theoretically you can watch a soccer game from England, then switch over to a movie that’s airing on a US network, and then switch up to Italy for an authentic Italian cuisine cooking show right?  That all sounds pretty good, and who could beat only having to pay $50 to get all of this right.  But of course sometimes if things sound too good to be true, you will find that they are just that.

Is Satellite Direct software a scam?

This is the question that most end up asking before buying, because there are a lot of shady reports out there.  As some Satellite Direct software reviews can tell you, most of the channels that you’re going to be supposed to be able to access are not always going to work as advertised. While the channels you can access should be in the thousands, many complain that really only a few work, sometimes as few as one literally.  That’s something that you have to be careful of.

But you’ll also find that many complain of a Satellite Direct software through how the money is actually charged.  You’ll find that many have found a problem with service in the way that the billing process is run, by which you cannot get a refund after you’ve paid for the software, even if it doesn’t work as advertised.  Many have found trouble actually getting into contact with the billing company as well, leading to further problems trying to reverse a payment when the product doesn’t work.

Something else that you’re also going to find is that Satellite Direct software has a lot of their own sites and reviews out to make it sound as though the software is the right type of service for you to purchase.  This is a problem for a few reasons.  On the one hand it’s sort of a shady business practice, and isn’t going to leave you with a lot of faith that the Satellite Direct software scam reports are false.  But this also makes it quite a bit harder to separate fact from fiction, which is always an issue when seeking to research a product.

Final Conclusion

There really isn’t any damning evidence either way with Satellite Direct software, and you’re going to find that it’s still up to you the consumer whether you want to go with a particular service.  That means you just have to decide if the Satellite Direct software scam reports and reviews are false or not, and whether you want to take a $50 plunge.  Just remember that the quality still is not going to be what you would get at home with an HD receiver from a company like DirecTV or Dish Network, whether the service ends up being a scam or not.

Satellite Direct for Mac Has Launched http://satellitedirectscam.com/satellite-direct-for-mac-has-launched/ http://satellitedirectscam.com/satellite-direct-for-mac-has-launched/#comments Sun, 20 Dec 2009 01:30:10 +0000 admin http://satellitedirectscam.com/?page_id=23 Apple enthusiasts rejoice:  Satellite Direct for Mac has now launched.

If you’re a Mac user like I am, you’ve probably been frustrated with the lack of software available for the computer sometimes.  It’s still well worth the sacrifice, but it gets really annoying when I find something I want that’s only available on a PC.

The good news is that the company just launched a Mac version of Satellite Direct, giving everyone access to the software now.

This goes to show that the company is continuing to build out its product, making it more accessible and more appealing to everyone who uses it.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see the number and quality of channels increasing over time too.

The Mac version comes at the same $49.95 price tag that the PC version does, and the download is extremely lightweight, making it really easy to install and access.

The Satellite Direct channels offered on the Mac software are the very same ones that you’ll get on your PC.  The only difference is the back end coding that makes it all possible.

Anyone with Apple TV will be happy to know that the transition from their computer to their television is seamless.  You’ll end up getting an HD quality image broadcast on your plasma or LCD television once you’ve installed the software.

Otherwise, some cables can easily be used as a means of transferring the image from your computer to your TV set if you’re interested in doing that.

It looks like this technology continues to grow, and more satisfied customers have continued to quell the common worries that potential customers may have about a Satellite Direct scam.

Look for more improvements to come from this company in the near future.

Satellite Direct Scam? http://satellitedirectscam.com/ http://satellitedirectscam.com/#comments Fri, 16 Oct 2009 02:35:03 +0000 admin http://satellitedirectscam.com/?page_id=8 Just a few months ago, I came across an ad for Satellite Direct.  While the concept of it looked amazing to me, the first thing that went through my head was Satellite Direct scam.  Like anything you buy online, I was a bit skeptical to say the last.  Another thought that went through my mind was “is Satellite Direct legal?”.  Both of these things were concerns of mine, so I had to do my research.

I was so tempted to buy the product right then and there.  I was living in Europe for 90 days on a work assignment, and my favorite football team was playing a really big game later that day.  The idea of downloading software that would let me see this game right away was too good to be true.  I was still skeptical of a Satellite Direct scam.

So, I spent the next few hours reading up on the product.  I wanted to make sure that the quality was good, that it had as many channels as advertised, and most importantly, I wanted to make sure that Satellite Direct wasn’t illegal.

I was happy to learn that Satellite Direct is in fact legal and legitimate, thanks to something called the Free to Air protocol, which allows for mass viewing of local and national TV stations from all over the world.

I also read a bunch of different user reviews who praised the digital HD quality of the stations they watched.  On top of that, I saw a high profile technology magazine that gave Satellite Direct high marks.  Once I saw that a reputable publication was talking this software up, I decided that it was definitely worth taking my chances on.  As a Mac user, I was pretty happy to see that it’d work on both PCs and Macs.

I decided to download the software from there.  For $49 it was less than one month’s worth of cable.  Since I’d never have to pay for cable monthly again from there, I figured it was well worth it.

Anyway, within about 5 minutes from making my payment I was up and running.  All I had to do was download the software and install it.  It couldn’t have been easier.  The best part about it was that the product does work as advertise.  The picture was crisp, the sound was great, it didn’t freeze up or get choppy, and there are a ton of TV stations.  Plus, I got to see the Falcons win their football game that day :)

Official Satellite Direct software page here.

At the moment, there are 3,500 TV stations from all over the world.  No matter what country’s TV stations you’re looking to watch, there’s a good chance they have them.  From movie channels to sports stations to all kinds of movie stations, there’s just about everything you could want.  It’s all in DVD quality too, since it’s digital.

To be honest, I’m surprised that more people don’t know about this.  It seems like it’ll only be a matter of time before everyone has software like Satellite Direct instead of a traditional cable plan.

Here are a few of my favorite things about Satellite Direct.

  • After I paid $49.95 for the software, I never had to pay a dime again.  No hidden costs, no subscription fees.
  • I get more channels than I do on my cable TV plan.
  • I canceled my home cable plan.  I now hook up Satellite Direct to my 42-inch plasma, and I’m able to watch all of my TV on my actual TV now.  The quality is just as good as it’d be on a regular HDTV.  I wouldn’t suggest canceling your cable plan until you’ve had at least a few weeks to play around with Satellite Direct, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you ended up canceling yours too.

My final verdict:  there’s no Satellite Direct scam, this product is the real deal.  Lots of channels, high quality picture and sound, and it’s legal.  I hope you enjoy yours as much as I’ve enjoyed mine.
