That means theoretically you can watch a soccer game from England, then switch over to a movie that’s airing on a US network, and then switch up to Italy for an authentic Italian cuisine cooking show right?  That all sounds pretty good, and who could beat only having to pay $50 to get all of this right.  But of course sometimes if things sound too good to be true, you will find that they are just that.

Is Satellite Direct software a scam?

This is the question that most end up asking before buying, because there are a lot of shady reports out there.  As some Satellite Direct software reviews can tell you, most of the channels that you’re going to be supposed to be able to access are not always going to work as advertised. While the channels you can access should be in the thousands, many complain that really only a few work, sometimes as few as one literally.  That’s something that you have to be careful of.

But you’ll also find that many complain of a Satellite Direct software through how the money is actually charged.  You’ll find that many have found a problem with service in the way that the billing process is run, by which you cannot get a refund after you’ve paid for the software, even if it doesn’t work as advertised.  Many have found trouble actually getting into contact with the billing company as well, leading to further problems trying to reverse a payment when the product doesn’t work.

This goes to show that the company is continuing to build out its product, making it more accessible and more appealing to everyone who uses it.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see the number and quality of channels increasing over time too.

The Mac version comes at the same $49.95 price tag that the PC version does, and the download is extremely lightweight, making it really easy to install and access.

The Satellite Direct channels offered on the Mac software are the very same ones that you’ll get on your PC.  The only difference is the back end coding that makes it all possible.

Anyone with Apple TV will be happy to know that the transition from their computer to their television is seamless.  You’ll end up getting an HD quality image broadcast on your plasma or LCD television once you’ve installed the software.

Otherwise, some cables can easily be used as a means of transferring the image from your computer to your TV set if you’re interested in doing that.

It looks like this technology continues to grow, and more satisfied customers have continued to quell the common worries that potential customers may have about a Satellite Direct scam.

I was so tempted to buy the product right then and there.  I was living in Europe for 90 days on a work assignment, and my favorite football team was playing a really big game later that day.  The idea of downloading software that would let me see this game right away was too good to be true.  I was still skeptical of a Satellite Direct scam.

I also read a bunch of different user reviews who praised the digital HD quality of the stations they watched.  On top of that, I saw a high profile technology magazine that gave Satellite Direct high marks.  Once I saw that a reputable publication was talking this software up, I decided that it was definitely worth taking my chances on.  As a Mac user, I was pretty happy to see that it’d work on both PCs and Macs.

I decided to download the software from there.  For $49 it was less than one month’s worth of cable.  Since I’d never have to pay for cable monthly again from there, I figured it was well worth it.

Anyway, within about 5 minutes from making my payment I was up and running.  All I had to do was download the software and install it.  It couldn’t have been easier.  The best part about it was that the product does work as advertise.  The picture was crisp, the sound was great, it didn’t freeze up or get choppy, and there are a ton of TV stations.  Plus, I got to see the Falcons win their football game that day

At the moment, there are 3,500 TV stations from all over the world.  No matter what country’s TV stations you’re looking to watch, there’s a good chance they have them.  From movie channels to sports stations to all kinds of movie stations, there’s just about everything you could want.  It’s all in DVD quality too, since it’s digital.

To be honest, I’m surprised that more people don’t know about this.  It seems like it’ll only be a matter of time before everyone has software like Satellite Direct instead of a traditional cable plan.

Here are a few of my favorite things about Satellite Direct.

• After I paid $49.95 for the software, I never had to pay a dime again.  No hidden costs, no subscription fees.
• I get more channels than I do on my cable TV plan.
• I canceled my home cable plan.  I now hook up Satellite Direct to my 42-inch plasma, and I’m able to watch all of my TV on my actual TV now.  The quality is just as good as it’d be on a regular HDTV.  I wouldn’t suggest canceling your cable plan until you’ve had at least a few weeks to play around with Satellite Direct, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you ended up canceling yours too.

My final verdict:  there’s no Satellite Direct scam, this product is the real deal.  Lots of channels, high quality picture and sound, and it’s legal.  I hope you enjoy yours as much as I’ve enjoyed mine.
